"This acquisition serves as our initial Mediterranean platform," says Matt Corr, AmSpec's Chief Executive Officer. "We now offer inspection and laboratory services in fifteen locations in Italy and I am excited to say this is only the beginning thanks to the ongoing support over the years of our dedicated employees and loyal clients and prospective ones," added Corr. AmSpec's acquisition of Watson Gray Italia coupled with existing operations in Slovenia and Croatia, expands AmSpec's global service network footprint into Bari, Milan, Genoa, Cremona, Mantova, Livorno, Rome, Naples, Trieste, Venezia, Milazzo, Siracusa, Sannazzaro, Venice and Ravenna. Specialty services in Calibration, Agriculture, Environmental, Minerals, Metals, Coal, Rail and Retail in conjunction with Petroleum testing and Inspection are now offered to the entire region under the AmSpec brand.
